I'm searching a light crankset to use with Dura Ace DI2 with bb30 bottom brackets.
Any ideas ? I don't want to spend too much like THM

Lightning is a good choice. I've had one for many years with Praxis rings and it's been rock solid. Same for a teammate of mine.

the best option should be Sram Red + Extralite Octaramp, but i don’t like to mix shimano group with sram crank ( Ugly :| ).
I’ve also the possibility to use my old Hollowgram Si crank, but it’s heavy 615Gr.

How about running a shimano crank and use a bb30 to shimano bottom bracket. It won't be the lightest but it'll look good.

Lightest (apart from thm) is sram red, and you can sand down and clear coat it so it's clean carbon looking.

You can put fsa sl-k or cannondale si sl. For good shifting you just need the right chainrings. Try to figure out which chainrings work best with di2 perhaps.

FSA K-Force Light (BB386 as they call it) has impressed me even in direct comparison to DA 9100. Not exactly cheap, though, but certainly well below THM price range.

They are fairly light at 590g including spacers (172,5mm 34/50).

I now run DA on C- Bear bb30-24 bearings and am very happy with the setup, both in terms of performance and looks.

With Shimano crank + Praxis adapter the weight is 700Gr.
It's a good idea to use Sram crank, sanding etap brand. Maybe putting a sticker on it

SRAM Red BB30 is pretty light (although I have no idea how close to the LIGHTEST)
But I can attest that it works perfectly with an otherwise all Shimano setup.

Extralite Octaramp works fine too ?

Sand down a sram red crank. I have done exactly this. My sram red 130 172.5 with all spacers, a stages spindle and stages nds power (also sanded) with chainring bolts and 53/39 q rings ( not light chainrings) was 560g.

Another option is to vinyl wrap the crank arms if you don't want to compromise warranty. it is easily reversable & the weight added is minimal. I did this to a DA9000 crank and from a short distance it is invisible

One more for FSA K-Force Light, i've got two of them and they work perfect.
Also got Easton EC90SL (but with a Kent Eriksen spider) and Wickwerks 44/34 CX combo.

Open *UP* (2016.04.14)

+1 for SRAM Red - best weight/value for money and no proprietary chain rings needed.
