Is your chain an SR 12s?
Did you try to follow manual instruction?
edit; you need to explain a little bit of context, what does it mean too long or too short?
Does it rub on derailleur jockeys when you're on smallest chainring/smallest sprocket?
Does the RD is way too straight when on biggest chainring/biggest sprocket?

just for clarity, what's your chain stay length and how much links are you using in both instances?

Bearing in mind the post above, perhaps take it to a mechanic, who knows what they’re doing.V3Rs wrote:Also, the Campy link above is for MECHANICAL- I have EPS
EPS chains are not sized by chain stay length- rather speration of pully from small cog...

?? I’m not understanding what you are saying.
Removing a link will increase the distance between the chain return path and the guide pulley.
The only potential problem would come from the big-big combo, and that shouldn’t be a problem if you are using a Campagnolo cassette and the chain was already too long to begin with.

not less than 3mm and not more than 22mm are the boundary conditions
ideally between 10mm to 15mm
16mm seems closest to ideal and between the boundary conditions
