Just finished my new Allez Sprint.

Size 49, in the water effect colorway. Not light at 7.85kg, but rides sublime with this setup.

Thanks Ymerej, but I can't take credit for the space or toolbox. That belongs to my good friend who finished the build for me. Took awhile to hunt down all the parts needed for the build, especially the handlebars and small Di2 grommets. Now if only the weather here would offer a small window of sunshine to ride outdoors.

Which head set adapter did you use for the SL7 stem? Looks super clean!

Hi brentvelo,

I got the head set adpater off Ebay. Much better quality than what I was able to print locally. He sells a ton of them, and they are very high quality. Send me a PM, and I can send you the Ebay link.

Cheers.

Looks very nice & timeless. Has an "aero-titanium-bike-vibe". 👍

Could you post the ebay link? Or the seller name?

Got my 2022 Allez Sprint built up. Including the recommended ebay adapter for the SL7 cockpit integration. Only ridden the bike twice so far and both times the headset had a small amount of play when I got home. Maybe the spacers, bearings and all just settled a little. Maybe I wasn't tightening the cap enough. I retightened the cap quite a bit more and torqued the stem bolts to 5nm. Hopefully it was user error and won't be a big deal. Anyone else have any issues with this that I should be aware of?

A special headset shim on top, e. g. from Cane Creek?
