Not sure if there is any post about removing the SL7 seatpost from the 2022 Allez Spint Comp, so I figured I would post and ask anyway. In the process of upgrading to Di2, SL7stem, Roval bars, etc... The teardown was going great until I got to removig the seatpost. That thing won't move. Bike is only a year old and the post has been out once before to install carbon paste (Muc off), it was slipping early on. It's only been tightened to spec. Someone please tell me how to get this mfr out! Took it to my LBS right before they were closing and they sprayed PB blaster in BB with the bike upside down. They put an old seat on there and started hammering, it moved maybe a 1/2". I got the bike in the stand still soaking. Anyone that has experienced this please help. Thanks in advance.

I had to use some soft taps from a hammer, worked fine!

You have no idea how much I regret selling my 2019 Allez Sprint. It developed a BB issue where it would make noise and after trying absolutely everything, i sold it. I now own an SL7 which is great but its no first gen Sprint. Btw I'm almost 40 not very flexible and I rode many centuries without any issues on my sprint. I am actually trying to find another

Has anyone out there heard anything new about a release date for these 2023 colors? I put in a standing order with my local shop for the silver one back in January and at the time they told me they expected them to be delivered in March.. That's obviously come and gone and the colors haven't even been officially announced on the Specialized website. My local shop is now saying June?!?!

I'm in the same boat as you. Bike shop I ordered through really has no idea. I have two personal friends that work at a Specialized store and even they couldn't give me an ETA either.

I wanted to get it built before the season is over so I can stop racing on my SL7.

Same... currently still racing my S-Works Allez. Was hoping to build up a new one and sell the S-Works.

I am in the exact same situation - initially, I was told by my LBS that the new framesets would arrive in May - which is now and not new ETA unfortunately.
