Good eye! I had looked at that post some twenty times and never did it occur to me to read the caption carefully.nino10 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2024 9:46 amSeka should publish them today - text from the sneak preview:

Florian has some frames available right now, and a few available soon, for those in Europe: https://seka.florianbikes.nl/
I'd seen those, but I can't decide based on a beige pixel.
I quite dig the Beige but never had a beige bike, and I wish it had some more colour. Kinda like what Standert did here, but not as many decals. https://standert.de/products/kettensage ... meset-team . As it is now, it kinda looks like a "gravel bike colour".
Mint green is also nice. The other colours... Big meh.
According to that I ll get mine late February.gloscherrybomb wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2024 12:34 pmFlorian has some frames available right now, and a few available soon, for those in Europe: https://seka.florianbikes.nl/
Hello everyone, finally managed to get my hands on Seka Spear Chronos. I made my order via a dealer (am based in Singapore) back in late May and only received and had it built up earlier this week.
Apologies for the lack of scenic background but for now, have only taken these pics: Components:
- Spear Frame Chronos in Size L with uncut Fork (still playing around with bike fitting)
- Rapier cockpit 375mm (top hood width) and 90mm stem length
- S-works Power Mirror Saddle with carbon rails and 3D printed rear-light Garmin Mount
- Bora Ultra WTO C23 60mm depth wheelset
- Ultegra Di2 shifters, Front and Rear D
- Incolor Skypivot 170mm crankarm with Ultegra chainring (52-36)
- Dura-ace 11-34 cassette
- Dura-ace 160/140 disc rotors
- Chris-King Steel bearings BB
- SLF Motion OSPW
- Favero Duo-Shi with Ultegra pedals
- Burge Bar-tape
- The rest of the bike is stock
Weight:
- Entire bike + com mount + bottle cages + pedals = 7.2kg.
Ride impressions:
A big disclaimer, I am just a casual cyclist who enjoys riding bikes but cannot put out heavy watts or anywhere near like the pros so these are my personal views when comparing to the bikes I have ridden previously. So far I have only taken 2 rides (1 flat and 1 climb) but felt that the ride quality is superb. Compared to my previous Seka Exceed just before this, the Spear felt way more "planted" and stiffer (transferred all components from Exceed to Spear to feel the difference in frame). This feeling of stiffness greatly reminded me of Allez Sprint but without its harshness. It feels like the Spear is very efficient, in that a pedal stroke propelled the bike that keeps it rolling and rolling. Even on climbs, the Spear felt very lively, and descending it was very confident-inspiring. It almost makes me feel as though the Seka Exceed that I have ridden was a bit "soft". While I did not do an in-depth test, the Spear felt faster on my Z2 efforts. All in all, the Spear gave me the familiar excitement I felt, a feeling I fondly miss in my old Dogma F8 bike.
Thanks for your time if you've read to this point. Shall have a long-term review after clocking some miles. Might toy with some component changes so we'll see.

What was the weight of the frame and fork in size L. Might order the same exact bike this week.Pharllow wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2024 4:49 pmHello everyone, finally managed to get my hands on Seka Spear Chronos. Today's the day, my Chronos frameset in size MR was finally delivered. The packaging is well thought-through and the paintjob is really nice.
I haven't checked frame and fork in detail but at first glance it all looks well made.
And what might interest most people here:
Bare frame: 800g
Fork uncut: 405g
0 offset 380mm seatpost: 166g
GC Performance had a video of an LR Chronos frameset with the following weights:
Frame with 5 cage bolts and rear derailleur hanger: 881g
Fork uncut: 454g
20mm offset 300mm seatpost: 138g
Very impressed by the quality of the frame accessories like seatpost clamp or Garmin mount. And all bolts are titanium.
More pictures and impressions later

Not sure I would be that impressed with the condition of the facing of the rear flat mounts.

To me it seems a nice job, the flatmount interfaces were milled after the frame's construction.
