Are you posting pics of the summerversion as well? Your fenderversion looks badass
Quick update, if anyone cares, which I doubt since you can't buy these following the demise of Wiggle!

I've got this down to 7.5 kg (including Garmin Vector 3 pedals, cages, computer and radar mounts). Main changes are Red (from Force), Elite Edge wheels (1390g, 45 D, 31 ERW 24 IRW), Avian Canary bars (36/110/247g). Hylix post, Galfer Wave rotors, Lifeline carbon cages.

I had been riding it for a while with 3T Discus 45|40 wheels and 32 mm GP5k S TRs, but the 1650g wheels and big tyres left the bike feeling a bit sluggish to get up to speed and lacking snap in accelerations and climbing. I had contemplated getting a set of Craft wheels at 1200g or so, but when the Elites turned up on AliX at 1/3 of the price, I jumped on them even though they lose out on weight by a fair amount. Still, sub 1400g is pretty decent and they transform the feel of the bike from the Discus wheels.

The Elites were delivered a couple of days before the Fred Whitton Challenge sportive that had been my training focus for winter and spring. I didn't have enough time to get tyres on mail order, so I opted for a set of 30 mm Corsa Pros that a local shop had in stock. Although not the fastest on test and perhaps a little fragile, these tyres have performed well, and I have had zero issues with them.

The Avian Canaries have also been a great buy: so much lighter than the FSA SMR stem + Prime aero bars I had been running before, and no issues with flex for me whatsoever.

Overall, the Venon has been great, and I find myself picking it ahead of my TCR and De Rosa SK from general day to day riding. My TCR is probably faster uphill, and the SK is quicker on flattish chain gangs, but the Venon just feels good everywhere, and I never think it holds me back. I had been contemplating buying a SuperSix Evo 4 himod frameset for £3k, but now I can't see it being worth that kind of outlay over the Venon. I really could sell all my other bikes and be happy with this one for all my riding, be it road, winter or gravel.

It looks great with tanwalls and road tires. Sounds like a really good bike. Too bad it's so hard to get one if not located in UK.

Have you tried to see how large a tyre you can fit in front/rear? Reckon a 50 might get in? 47 with 2x grx?
Not really as I've been sticking to road mainly. Maximum I've tried is 40 mm P Zero Race which fit under my fenders. There's loads of clearance at the front, but the front derailleur battery (AXS) is the limiting factor at the rear. You could also run 650B wheels for more clearance.

Can I ask what your headset solution was to change out the crap fsa stem?
Avian Canary one piece barstem @ 247g for 36cm/110mm with ACR transition spacer from Avian store on AliX.
Thanks.

Given it's an allroad / gravel capable - did you think about the Falcon instead - or was it not available when you bought? My memory was the Canary was a bit flexy when released?

I've got GRX 2x on mine. I've tried 650x50 (WAM) and theyre pretty tight to the chain stays, maybe 2-3mm clearance each side, fine for the dry, wouldn't ride in any mud.

700x41 (WAM) the constraint is the FD, where there's about 6mm gap. I think 43-44mm should be fine.

1x would give you quite a lot more space for 700c tyres
