So we agree then. Cheers!Lina wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2024 7:00 pmYeah, the entire point was, spend on materials not on brand name.BenCousins wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2024 6:14 pmThat your cheap base layers lasted because they are a good quality material.
Again, I'm not talking about 'does it fit the body' in a macro sense, I'm talking about fit, cut, tailoring - things like:
1. Does the collar stay in shape, stay tight and not crease up when aero on the bike?
2. Does the zip bunch up on the front when aero on the bike or stay straight?
3. Are the arms shaped and using the correct matierals so that there aren't creases when aero on the bike?
And materials stuff like:
1. Are the gripper sections at the base of the jersey long lasting and sticky enough through multiple washes?
2. Does the material on the back stay in shape with heavy items in the pockets?
3. Is the zip 100% reliable being opened and closed with one hand?
4. Can the item sustain shower washing, towel squeeze drying and other hotel-room type behaviours?
No, but on average, it will.

I received the Cyclami A3 Max pump.
It claims up to 150 PSI/10.3 bar.
The pump is a lot more powerful than the A2 but not as mini.
I managed to pump two 21.5 mm tubulars to 8 bar and then two 28 mm to 6 bar. Real quick; plenty of battery remaining.
To get past 6 bar, you ll need to use the hose that comes with the pump (versus the much more comfortable direct engagement). Many of us will have plenty with 6 bar.
With the added power and battle capacity, I feel like I can drop CO2 cartridges or normal pump.
Even so, it's big - it hardly fits in the tool keg.
I think as carry on, I would stick with the smaller, more compact A2.

Is it sealed? Can it stay in the saddlebag in wet conditions?

DHG01 - these minipumps are really nice, which of them is the lightest (and best)? rockbros seem to be a little lighter
Hi Thejingerr, I ve used the A2 Mini and just got the A3 Max. The A2 Mini is less powerful but also quite a bit smaller - as carry on, it would be my choice. I ve had to fix about 7-9 punctures with it (for me or for and others). It does the job. It will inflate 4-5 26 mm tyres to about 5 bar and can be fully charged in less than 40 min (eg - at any coffee stop).Thejingerr wrote: ↑Sun Aug 18, 2024 5:10 amDHG01 - these minipumps are really nice, which of them is the lightest (and best)? rockbros seem to be a little lighter
I haven't tested any others.
@besenwagen - it is not sealed. One of the punctures was on a long, wet ride. No issues, but that's more on the tool case keeping the interior dry.

I am searching minipump on aliexpress and these pop up in a variety of names and prices but with same specifications. Rockbros being the most expensive.

I use the same setup. A3 for pumping at home before rides and A2 as an emergency during the ride. I've stopped using a saddle bag and just put this pump, 2 levers and tpu tube in the back pocket. Can't beat the size and weight really love it.DHG01 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2024 7:14 pmI received the Cyclami A3 Max pump.

I recently saw that there is a new version A2s with added screen for precise pressure and just 25g heavier then the A2. Maybe will try it soon

I have their big model with screen. TBH I would not buy it again. It's too sensitive. You set a certain pressure and if for some reason there is a little bit too much resistance through the valve (sealant that causes a little block, Milkit valves with a bit less flow) the detected pressure spikes, hits the value on the display and the pump stops. It's super annoying.

That's why I use it with the hose which threads on the valve. This makes a perfect connection and there are no spikes. Also did not like the accuracy at the start, but this was resolved with using the hose.TheBelgian wrote: ↑Sun Aug 18, 2024 11:56 amKubackjeee wrote: ↑Sun Aug 18, 2024 11:01 amI use the same setup. Let me try that and I'll get back to you.
I have different setups at home:
3 tubeless wheelsets, one with normal valves, one with Miltek valves, one with Reserve Fillmore valves
1 wheelset with TPU tubes (gf's bike).
I'll test them all with the pump

Don't buy the A2 version as the full range of the A3 series is about to be released (here rebranded under the name bscobber).
You were able to get these new versions with an early bird discount a few days prior. I got the A3Max for only 30€.
