I personally think the warranty frames are the best looking paint options so I'd do that.

How do you get a warranty frame after a crash? You have some sort of insurance?

It's hard to understand your options. Option 1 sounds best. Option 2 - recoup what loss? Option 3 - I'd do that if there was no warranty.

Warranty implies free replacement, a no brainer. If you mean they will sell you a frame that's in stock for warranty use (at a discount?) whether it's viable depends on the cost, as does the possibility of having the broken frame repaired. Only you can decide which if any options are financially viable.

Not knowing what discount we speak of, but i guess 30% off?
You might check what a good repair job would cost and possibly an extra charge for repainting!?
Hard call, how much does it mean to you, honestly?

It’s 35%. I would just take the discount.

Depends on how much a repair and repaint would cost.
Even after a repair I'd imagine the frame will be almost unsellable on the used market, so I'd only consider it as a keeper.

Question is what it would cost to restore your current damaged frame, compared to a new?
I don't know if resale value matters to you and also, mentally, would you cope with a frame that is repaired?
I mean i am certain, somewhere inside us we might get hooked up on the feeling that it's just not what it was.
I understand that we'd all have different senses about things like these, but that is a few things we'd need to figure.
If you get some OCD around it all (let's say you go for a repair job), it might be an issue for you?
It's impossible to say what is right because it's a matter of how you feel about it. You're you and no matter what any other say, it's still what happens in your mind that is the key here. If we knew each other and spoke about it for real, i would clearly say what i think all pending on what i thought you would cope best with.

As I don’t really know a specialist with a good track record, for me would be unavoidable to think if the repair was done properly during descents and pushing on corners, I would likely hold back.

That’s why I would just take the 35% discount and have the peace of mind.
