reducing bar drop using molding under tape?

this might be the Fredliest thing ever, but has anyone 3d printed material or used dense foam of some sort to bulk up the topside of the drops? I don't like the 130mm of drop my bars have, but I'm locked into using them. lol.
i know giro does gel, but it's not firm enough and way too heavy.

I have had this same idea for years. I thought about tbis but it seems most of the material is on the bottom. Maybe i could flip them around and file them down some or something. Wish they were more readily available stateside.

To reduce significatively the drop you would need at least 5mm extra under your palm... not impossible to keep q reasonable drop diameter.
You would need to push quite more what I experimented with (my goal was to have a more oval shape)
1) I used a layer of cork-tape on top and bottom part of the drops --> you could try with rubber layer using a butyl tube (2mm) + cork (2mm) on the top and nothing on the bottom and then hockey tape to keep everything together... will add a picture after
2) An alternative is to raise your bar 5mm (thats 3deg on a 100mm stem) so you have a more relaxed position on the hoods (and maybe an easier to hold sphinx position) and more accesible drops.
