I guess that he's has trouble fitting frames too. His bike looks just as freaky with no seatpost showing.

Not to drift to far off topic, but as someone who raced on the pre-disc Ridley X-Night frames, I always thought Ridley's cross geometry was somewhat scewed. Which was quite confusing considering the majority of the riders I saw on Ridley's did not fall into that ideal/specific body type, thus, you ended up with pros and amateurs alike who were technically between frame sizes, thus ended up with setups like the one above.

Looks pretty cool by me, why do you find it worth of this thread? There's already a discussion, BTW.

On ebay right now. Saddle almost looks like a slide that will help you get into the newly banned UCI "super tuck". Can't imagine that its actually made for sitting.

I can do 1 better ;-)

This is not a photoshopped or prank picture. It's a bike that the "brand ambassador" of our company rides. As a cyclist, this bike makes me itchy all over :p

Let us know when he snaps his steerer tube on a pothole and smashes his face into the ground

She ;-) actually that's the bike from Gelle Vandecaveye. Former olympic top judoka. Now apparentely she is "coaching" business managers and stuff. I saw a photo from the bike and all the hashtags from sponsors and company's involved. If my name/company was mentioned on such a bike, I would be disgraced.

What I've seen she rides a mountainbike in the same, stacked position.

Of all things, I suspect a reason beyond ignorance - as, obviously, a world class athlete with a very long career there might be for example back/neck issues that demand this sort of setup. Being not "only" a stack of spacers and an uncut steerer, it has also taken a lot of work and equipment to make it happen.

Or, the horror!, she just prefers to ride that way and couldn't care less what we think.
