I have a massage gun. It's not bad. Can be painful in the beginning, but once your muscles start to get used to the gun it gets better. I don't think there is any scientific research that backs up proclaimed advantages. But, if it helps to relax that is good enough.
I bought the gun on Ali for about 50 Euro's I think. Never had a problem with it, but it is kind of noisy.

I have normatec(hyperice). its marginal but I cant deny it feels good. I also have GameReady which is nice, but the pressure in the hyperice system is nicer. Gameready has its usefullness as well.
No massage guns, but do have a cordless massage from sharperimage.. it's alright as well and strong enough for what I need.

If you are prone to overuse cramping the theragun is indispensable.

I have the small theragun. it was an amazon daily deal a while back and like 70% off so I grabbed it. I use it once in a while but not regularly. It is a nice to have, not a must have. I would definitely NOT buy one for full price.
I also have a hyperice foam roller. It is pretty incredible but the vibration is so powerful that it shakes my whole house and causes things to fall off shelves, so I rarely use it. Best suited for use on a solid concrete floor. If you live in an apartment or complex your neighbors would probably murder you.

Normatechs are a $1000 leg massage but at least you only pay once.

I have a pair of compression boots from Blackroll.
The feeling is very nice. Do they really have an impact? I have no idea.
They cost 499€ and I got them with 25% off. So it wasn't a huge investment.
Psst: Let me know if you need a 25% discount code, maybe I can get another one

Thanks for the feedbacks!
I think I will give these massage boots a try, most probably the Normatec. Thanks!
@jayjay: Thanks for the offer! They are unfortunately only shipping within Europe.

The newer hyperice is the same.. battery is good enough for 3 decent sessions.. bluetooth to the phone and all that jazz.

+1 on the Theragun. I bought it on the advice of my son's physiotherapist and it is really great. I recommend the 60 lbs. Theragun Pro, as cyclists are often working very large muscle groups that benefit from the greater pwer offered by the Pro version. My son (LHP) also uses it in-game between innings and post-game for recovery and the Pro is not too much for arms, either.
