I wasn't really sure where to place this so I went with the general forum.
I'd like to have a 3D printed race number holder which I can glue to the seatpost, not using rubberbands.

Does anyone know where I can obtain a technical drawing to print locally? Is there someone on the forum who can design? I don't have the knowledge.Of course, if someone is willing to design, I'm willing to pay.

Example design: Evenepoel seatpost ... click here

The standard BBB racenumber holders are too bulky because they have rubberband placeholders.

Thanks in advance!

You can remove the rubberband arms of said BBB mount with a saw and then glue the mount to the seatpost. In any case, use a strong 2k epoxy.Image

These are pretty hard to beat and no elastic bands:

Ask them if the SL8 version is coming soon... :)

Looking at the glued mounted above, it would appear to be simple enough to just take a pre-made sheet of carbon fiber, maybe 0.75-1 mm thick, cut pieces to size, then glue on to your seatpost with some spacers and screws for alignment. You could likely use plastic screws and nuts to cut even more weight.

Thanks for the input lads. I actually quite like the idea of the carbon sheet cutting.

You don't need a drawing really, what you want is an STL file. You can try to download free caad software then make a part. If you watch a few tutorials it shouldn't be too bad to make what you're saying, then you'll know how to make parts in the future and anyone can print them (even you).
