Getting around MFG regional restrictions
Moderators: robbosmans, Moderator Team
Are there any work arounds to get around manufactururer regional sales restrictions (e.g. Shimano, SRAM)? I live in the United States, but it seems like pricing on many items is better in Europe. While many of the online vendors ship other items to the US, some items are restricted from being shipped here. I know it's a long shot, but I wonder if anyone has figured out a work around.

You just missed your opportunity to buy SRAM in the US. Every shop was selling AXS for barely above wholesale while they suspended their MAP policy until 12/31.
Of course Any idea what a SRAM RED AXS Dub crank wholesales for?TobinHatesYou wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 12:48 pmYou just missed your opportunity to buy SRAM in the US. Every shop was selling AXS for barely above wholesale while they suspended their MAP policy until 12/31.
Was a great time to buy equipment. Both in the EU, where the strong USD made it comparatively cheap and in the US where 20-30% off was widespread.TobinHatesYou wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 12:48 pmYou just missed your opportunity to buy SRAM in the US.
