I meant for regular clinchers + tubes. Hookless road is not something I'm onboard with. You know this.
someone needs to send GCperformance the clip of the roval wheel + latax failure.. Shit happens....

Clincher and latex. Tubeless too heavy?

I really dont trust roval to hang onto a tire. (my personal opinion from personal experience).. Only Roval wheel I have left is the 321disk... sold off CLX50,64,32

Remco was actually quicker today as well, but came third :D :D :D
To be fair, today Remco was quicker.

This is bizarre. Very chilly until Wout leaves:

looks staged AF.... Ganna is basically laughing.

The difference here is Ganna being quite happy with 2nd while anything but a win is a failure in Wout's mind. Ganna also doesn't have a longstanding rivalry with MvdP going back to childhood.

Staged? If it was staged, Wout didn't look like he was in on it.

Staged? You haven't been following CX racing. This is part and parcel of the post-MVDPvsWVA-race dynamics.

Roglic (and Vinge) have been on s5 in most of the mountain stages they raced this year including yesterday. As far as i know with their setup with sram it’s quite a bit above 6.8kg. For their size i expect thr weight to be up arouns 7.3-7.6 (Vos bike was 7.4 i believe). So they dont care about weight that much after all? These mountains in Volta Catalunya are brutal.

I think sub 7kg because both are on tubular wheels.

All (other) things being equal, advantage Evenepoel - he will have less weight and a cool ~4W less in Crr per tire (FOR THE WHOLE STAGE) if that's still their choice for the Giro. Aero as well maybe, depending on Remco's wheel choice for the day?
Plus nearly 74Km in ITT, 19 of which is the Monte Lussari.
Too bad, because I'm no fan of Lefevre.

What is the net weight saving of C36T+tires vs Reserve 40/44+tires?

Their tubular wheels aren't Shimano and definitey lighter unbranded Corima carbon tubular rims.

Didnt know they are on tubular!
If thats the case okay weight could be less of an issue and they probably enjoy a stiffer platform in the s5 than the r5.

We also dont know how fast the new vittoria pros are. I would guess around gp5000s tr or a tad slower. Those contis are hard to beat crr wise.
