Quite recently.
Tao Geoghegan Hart, 2020 Giro... he won stage 21's ITT to take the GC... he never wore the pink jersey in the race.
As for winners who didn't wear the leader's jersey until the final stage:
Jai Hindley, 2022 Giro
Pogacar, 2020 TdF.
Nibbles, 2016 Giro.
Cadel Evans, 2011 TdF.

Only 3 years ago Tao Geoghegan-Hart didn't wear the Maglia Rosa until the final podium.

Son of a gun, these are spot on. Forgot about last year's Giro in checking and I had thought Hindley and Nibali had taken the lead two stages before the end, not one.

Roglic's TT mechanical mishap story gets even more Hollywood-ish

is it legal to get a push from a spectator, and a stocky push at that, long after Roglic was clipped in and going. A former ski jumping teammate no less.
Should it be legal?
Although to be fair, I guess a rider doesn't have control if a spectator pushes them.

In the context of a push after a mechanical to regain momentum then I think it is fair enough and I doubt there would be a penalty. The push he received from the guy in red was hardly pivotal in the outcome of the stage.
It will always come down to the race commisaires.

I imagine he's stuck on the TT bike for a while. No way that wrist would feel great with the hand on regular bars. At least no cobbles in this years race
And speaking of broken wrists, Balsamo broke hers and her jaw in two places a couple of days ago. Crash was in the convoy. Sounds bad.

I'm really curious to see if Pog can get himself into tour-winning shape with this injury, or if the training time lost was just too much. The question definitely adds mystery and a little excitement to this year's tour. If he wins it, I would expect him to have been a bit under-cooked in week 1 and to peak in week 3. A voir.

More interesting: they agreed to separate even ifthe contract is not finished yet.
We'll see a lot of teams changing bike suppliers next season.
