Because the R5CX don't accept the 50T chainring that he use in Zolder.

I think the topic is fair game. The pro thread often delves into the behaviour of riders beyond the racing. Nothing different here other the the gravity of the outcome of that behaviour. Though perhaps it belongs in a "retired pro" thread.Stendhal wrote: ↑Tue Jan 02, 2024 7:00 amIs this a good topic to continue? It is so sad and tangental to cycling as distinguished from cycling personalities. If it is (moderators decide), and anyone is interested, new reported details are inside the linked article, in the third paragraph. If accurate, there are some (by no means all) faint resemblances to Tiger Woods' situation.

Considering the past behaviour of Rohan Dennis, this is somewhat less surprising. His history is replete with innapropriate bad tempered outbursts, mistreatment of team staff and press, tantrums, self destructive decisions, etc. The whole time trial debacle with Merida showed classic "rules don't apply to me" narcissism. Even at the best of times he was not a stable individual. Based on latest info, I think Dennis will do serious time.

Noting that the current Police case is that she jumped on the bonnet of the moving ute to prevent him from leaving, reached for the door handle and fell from the vehicle before being dragged. Rohan is being charged for not immediately stopping the vehicle when she jumped on the bonnet, and stopping immediately when she fell off.Mr.Gib wrote: ↑Wed Jan 03, 2024 12:26 amI think the topic is fair game. The unknowns providing further context, in this case, are the events leading up to the incident.
Nice to see Colnago + Campagnolo back on the Cx scene.

Officially the R5-CX takes up to 52t in a 1x config.
Officially the Aspero only takes up to 44t in a 1x config.
what an effed up story. A good illustration of the fact though he/she might be a "nice" and "accomplished" person, a violent temper might well result in someone else getting hurt, or worse, inadvertently.
