I've had to use a VPN with GCN to watch any ASO race and the Belgian classics so I'm not sure how helpful an app would be.

True, wish I could use it with my OLED tv. Now I just case a chrome tab to my chromecast in my tv. Works but an app would be even easier.
This probably depends on the age and operating system version of the Samsung television. Sometime back in February I was able to install the GCN+ app on our Samsung QLED TV' which is less than 12-months old, but the app is not available on the older Samsung LED models we use as monitors for riding on the trainers.

You can cast from your phone, or use the LG browser to find the GCN+ website or use the '"connect to wireless" option from a Windows PC.
That’s awesome. If they get an Xbox app then I’ll be covered in all the rooms in my house. LolEdWiser wrote:This is for the actual AppleTV box not the Apple+ streaming app.nismosr wrote:I check this last night, its not there i'm using Samsung TV
They are working on a Roku box app.
I have tried casting and it didn't work very smoothly on my network. I think it is because the wifi connection is not very stable where I have the TV (I have it connected with an ethernet cable, but I think when casting it still uses wifi). Sure, I could try the TV browser, but at this point I might as well use the laptop with an HDMI cable.OnTheRivet wrote: ↑Thu May 05, 2022 7:02 pmYou can cast from your phone, or use the LG browser to find the GCN+ website or use the '"connect to wireless" option from a Windows PC.
It's not that it can't be done, but all this shouldn't be necessary. Pretty much every streaming platform (even smaller local ones) has a WebOS app, so it's hard to justify not having one. It's not like LG is an unknown TV manufacturer or anything.
I've been watching GCN+ for just over a year now. I do have the app on my TV but its crap. I can hardly get any races on there.
All I do know is run an HDMI cable from my laptop to the TV.
