Hey everybody,
I’m hoping to get some helpful feedback for a trip I’m taking to Ireland next month. I don’t own any bike luggage nor do I have much interest in investing in any at this moment. With that in mind, I was hoping to do some cycling during my trip and was wondering if anyone has insight into what options I might have in renting a bike while I’m there. I’m not super picky but would love it to be a modern road/gravel bike. I’m a pretty standard size - 56cm is what I currently ride. I reached out to Specialized in Dublin but I haven’t heard back yet and it got me wondering if my idea was foolhardy.
Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi, road/gravel bike rentals options are very few in Ireland as a whole. It's not a big location for that sort of tourism. About the only place I can think of offhand are www.Biking.ie who are based in the south dublin mountains. They might be able to facilitate a drop-off, I don't know.
A quick goodgle suggests options here https://roadbikehire.ie/bikes/ and here https://irishcentreforcycling.ie but can't say I've ever heard of them.

I've been in the Specialized shop in Dublin a few times and I don't think bike hire is one of the things they do.
