Nice picture from the Col de la Forclaz ... been there several times. Cormet de Roselend is hard with the Col du Pré combi , but the view over the blue water is stunning

No this was just a group of mates on Saturday. I'm not a fan of mass ride events like todays. To risky

Don't know what it's like for riders in other countries but in UK these days there's usually somewhere for a café stop. I'd planned to stop at about the 70km mark at a farm shop this morning but disaster, it was closed, probably with it being the long Jubilee weekend here. And I couldn't find anywhere else on my route until I got to a little village which had closed the road for a street party (they're a thing here today). I walked my bike through the people and tables and quietly lifted a scone as I passed. It got me home.

On Sunday I did the Dragon Ride in Wales, the Gran Fondo option of 215km/3300m. Big day out as far as I was concerned. Here is is my day condensed into 5 minutes.
