Ride to Stockbridge?
Not quite that far, Whitchurch was our southernmost point.

That viaduct is very distinctive.

Loving the pics; making me really want to get ut and cycle but again in Scotladn it was another day where the wind beats the cyclist so nothing for me outside!

Good blast round South Oxfordshire with the club's annual Reliability ride yesterday. It's more fun than it sounds.

Reliability Rides are a traditional feature of British early season cycling club life. You sign up to ride a set course in a given time, with a range of times on offer. You're meant to try and achieve that specific time. In practice? Everyone goes as fast as they can.

Sunshine and 18C in England today. Managed a lunchtime ride in shorts and s/s top, a first for this year. Also it was a first ride on a new pair of G-One Speed in 50mm width (and I remember when we thought 25mm was wide, some people I know still do). They are fantastic! I knew they'd be good on gravel and stony surfaces, and they are, but their road speed is impressive. Not great in mud but otherwise the combination of speed and comfort is eye-opening.

A lovely long ride today around Lake Geneva :

These concrete paths are made for winemakers, so they're car free. You can find other ones in forests or fields, that's a nice alternative to busy roads that I haven't seen outside of Switzerland
