Ultegra 6500. I have a 10 speed carbon lever 105 on the CAAD as probably the most used group I have. But I guess my Suntour Superbe Pro downtube shifted bike would be the true oldest.
Used to daily that every day to class. Now it's a backup bike

Since this has been bumped, 3 years later I'm still on the same Force AXS groupset.JMeinholdt wrote: ↑Sun Sep 06, 2020 9:06 pmMy AXS group is only about a month old. However, on my other bike, my R8000 group is about 2 years old. Only way I'll swap out the R8000 group on my secondary bike is if I find a too good to pass up deal on a used Di2 or 11 speed eTap group.
My secondary bike got replaced with a gravel bike and it has Rival AXS that's about a year old.

Still on 11 speed groups of various age, including one 6+ years old rim brake Etap. The oldest one, though, is 10 speed 7970 Di2 on my wife's bike with custom internal battery, 12+ years.
Minimum bike categories required in the stable:
Aero bike | GC bike | GC rim bike | Climbing bike | Climbing rim bike | Classics bike | Gravel bike | TT bike | Indoors bike

ca. 25k on a 2019 red etap groupset. Last year did a brake overhaul replacing pistons and seals. Will be replacing the whole groupset soon though as the rest of my bikes are on AXS and I want everything to be compatible. I don't like having my 'best' set of wheels limited to only one bike.
some time ago i sold my winter bike on DA 7800 bought in 2006... lovely groupset, quite possibly the best ever made.
new 12sp Shimano is cool, works great, but is also few times more expensive, and it takes forever to assembly, builiding a road bike from scratch back then took maybe an hour max

Mix of r8000 and 6800. Works fine but would prefer hoods of sram or campy again.

I've been using 3x9 deore for a couple of years on my daily workhorse/training bike.
Ultegra 6500 12-21T 9 speed cassette. Fairly light and cheap @195 grams.
Swapped to a 6700 105 rear mech last week, tuned that down to about 200 grams.
KMC X9SL 9 speed chain.
XT front derailleur.
Soon I am going to upgrade to SLX 10 speed shifters, Specialites TA chinook chainrings, Dura Ace 7800 12-23T 10 speed cassette.
(when the current cassette and/or chain wears out).
Doesn't make much sense for me to use anything better than that.
I think I'm still over the weight limit for my lightest road bikes, have to train a bit more still before I start riding those again.
