Thanks for the link but it doesnt say they produce themself.
They state "Our products are manufactured in the finest qualities by skilled specialists in the North of Italy".
As you're probably well aware, there are plenty of manufacters in North of Italy.
Nothing wrong with it, I was just curious if they really make the stuff themself.

It's quite difficult to decide when someone makes stuff themselves or not. Is it when you slap your design and logo on an OEM product? Is it when you customise an OEM product? Is it when you design the garment from scratch? Or do you have to own the factory?

Rapha, for example (AFAIK from conversations with people in the industry) contracts manufacturing, like most textiles companies.

Virklon from Spain makes custom kit of all sorts, with a very good value for money imho. Got some stuff made for my girlfriend and a speed suit - all good quality for a very decent price. Nice people, too. Will order there again.

I got the Raccmer red/pink diamonds jersey for free when I ordered some of those brake caliper light thingies. I usually wear an XL in most companies and knowing that this was a china based company that usually size their clothes for the asian market, I ordered a 3XL. Pit to Pit is 22.5", which is about 1.5" larger than what I consider an XL, which is fine because that's more of a 'club fit' to me. However, the problem I've found is the length. I'm 5'10" and the tail goes to the bottom of my butt and the front goes right to the middle of the jewels. On the road, the front rides up and the back sags even lower due to stuff in the pockets which makes me look like I'm rocking a reverse muffin top. Perhaps I should have ordered a smaller size.

As for seams and material quality, it's decent. There were a few finishing threads left, but nothing that seemed like it would cause unravelling. Three pockets, deep - but probably because the jersey is large on me.

A great deal if you can get it for cheap.. or even free

I agree with you, but the first message I quotated stated that it was "made in-house" something very uncommon these days.
That's why I've got very surprised and i was curious to hear the source.
As simple as that.

Black Sheep jerseys are also plagued with saggy pockets. Unless they've changed they really need to step up the pocket material to something with some compression. Not acceptable for the prices they charge.

Is this true? I was just about to buy a few of their jerseys...

From what i've experienced and seen, yeah, unfortunately. Had a few friends with BS jersey and anything more than a gel and an iphone and you get saggy pockets. They seem to use very light fabric, which is great. Except it doesnt have enough compression for the pockets. Maybe instead of a few give on of their "core" jerseys a go and see how you like it?

Here is my input!

Vulpine Only have their rain jacket, but I've seen their jerseys - beautiful pieces, and the quality is right up there.

Torm - UK brand - very simple and comfortable design. However, one for cooler days or relaxed rides.

Chapeau.cc - another UK one - I've got one of their more relaxed jerseys - it's pretty nice - one that works just as well as on the road as the pub garden.

Morvelo Got three of these bad boys. Two are the training style jerseys (really well made and big pockets), and the third is their aero jersey. It is a pretty awesome jersey with technical details (rivals high end Castelli stuff). Mine is black with some little pink detailing. With this brand you are talking bold and brass or nicely subtle.

TwinSix While not a particularly clean design, it is comfortable and well fitting!

I've also got a couple of Rapha pieces - I'm sure you already know enough about this brand!

I was very close to pulling the trigger on the Isadore kit, but the zipper pocket placement really put me off. I saw several reviews saying the zipper was a bit of a problem and you'd often catch your wrist, fingers on it. I like how it's tucked out the way, just a shame it's not practical.

The zipper placement is a non-issue for me. The Isadore jerseys are wonderful. Fantastic fabrics, lightweight, fine cut. Very well made. Their pricing is actually a little lighter than some other higher end brands, other brands who should be ashamed to charge so much. I give Isadore a big thumbs up.
