Thanks for the link but it doesnt say they produce themself.
They state "Our products are manufactured in the finest qualities by skilled specialists in the North of Italy".
As you're probably well aware, there are plenty of manufacters in North of Italy.
Nothing wrong with it, I was just curious if they really make the stuff themself.

Black Sheep jerseys are also plagued with saggy pockets. Unless they've changed they really need to step up the pocket material to something with some compression. Not acceptable for the prices they charge.

this. i see lots of stuff in this thread that is nice, but not hundreds-of-dollars nice.

maybe if the sleeves were a little shorter they could save on fabric and bring the price down?

sorry for asking about chinese products in this thread, but is there anyone, who has some experience with jerseys from ali (not team replicas, but other design jerseys, like with stripes, chequered motives, etc.)

i am particularly interested in

"Racmmer 2016 Breathable Cycling Jersey Summer Mtb Cycling Clothing Bicycle "

if there is anyone, who happened to buy one of those, could you please write a few words about quality, seams, zips, pocket size etc?

tia.

I can't comment on quality but several of those designs are straight up copied from other brands, Twinsix and MAAP, among others. I avoid them like all the other Ali team replica kits.

I can't speak for the replicas, but I did try a few of the various bib shorts on aliexpress & ebay because I sought cheap, not terrible, but decent bib shorts for commuting (14-16mi/each way with a bit of climbing both ways). I tried 4 different "brands" and they all sucked.

Construction: Either the pad was too small or set too far back in the shorts, making my penis be fairly well 'outlined' at the front of the shorts. It might have been o.k. for riding (I never tried them, pad seemed thick enough) but it would not have been good for work: I work in an office with mostly women and gay men. My entire department is women. I think except for me and the office manager there may be only one other 'straight' guy in the office. It just would not be appropriate for me to walk into the office sweaty with what would basically be my cock in full view.

Materials: one brand had the 'compression strip' ending on the shorts, the rest used a silicon band and rarely matched pictures. Material was very, very basic lycra. Nothing fancy at all.

It's not worth it.

If you're looking for decent, affordable bibs that you can commute in I've been happy with DHB Aeron.

I was asking about jerseys, not bib shorts :)

just finished a trip in dhb aeron bibs though, and I'm quite satisfied with them. :) Never purchased shorts from ali so far, cause my opinion is, that good bibs are hard to manufacture (they have to provide sufficient support-some padding, but not too extreme, they have to dry quickly, provide with good evaporation, and the fit have to be very tight, yet not too much :) )

on the other hand, I had some experience with cheaper chinese jerseys, and most of them had very inferior material with sub-par quality zipps and seams.

I guess I will not experience with shorts from the far east, but, perhaps there are some better quality jerseys out there. :welcome:

The Chinese jersey I ordered from AliExpress was complete junk. Poor cut/fit, sizing off, graphics not aligned. Worst purchase I have ever made on AliExpress.

The new Specialized SL pro jerseys are very nice. If you want subtle, get it in the all black or any of the merino versions.

I purchased a couple of Attaquer's Core jerseys that were on sale. Fits great and I like the material too. Best thing is that it's very low key when compared to some of their other (horrific) offerings.

On holiday last week I picked up a Twin 6 jersey from a shop. Have heard of them before but never tried any of their offerings. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and the fit of the jersey, and when I looked online afterwards I saw that they seem to offer discounts regularly.
