you're right. those look horrible. =\
Sorry missed the prescription point. I think Oakley's Fuel Cell are some glasses which can have prescriptions and look retro and cool. I actually like these 1950 Marcello Mastroianni style glasses much better as it is something different than all this random Oakley "cyclist style" insanity. I owe jawbones but I do not wear them anymore . It even does not have to be Oakley. I think some retro face lines following (round shaped) sun glasses look way cooler on a bike.
Ray-Ban Wayfarer is a style I would wear on a bicycle,too.

I have those glasses and they are the best... you have to remember that many years ago when they were made it was the only blade type frame that was RX.
However since the sale of Oakley to Luxottica, Oakley has really stopped making anything great and the customer service down the drain.
I was a lifelong RX customer both sun and everyday RX and Oakley refused to make replacement lens for a frame that they had made the original lens. The refused to make a pair of photochromatic glasses for me. And they couldn't get a screw for a frame that was lees then two years old...
I had such a poor experience that I wrote the CEO a email and there was no response ...
Still super upset about it... and looking for a replacement brand....

I had these Oakleys with a black Iridium lens and Fire red iridium inserts. In combos, these look awesome, in a one color only you are right.
Because the lens kept breaking (because of different thickness they are not flexible in the same way), I changed to Racing Jacket and other Oakley models. THis hobby became too expensive...
