Have a look at PNS line. Mechanism Thermal Long Sleeve Jersey might be just perfect when used with long sleeve base layer with windstoper in the chest area. When going beyond 0C - you have https://pasnormalstudios.com/eu/product ... ark-orange. Granted that it's listed above your budget but they do have some sales/deals and it is worth to look for some black friday deals IMHO - the Thermal Long Sleeve I have is cut perfect - only Assos comes close (models from 14 years ago!) - in how good it fits in aero and full-gas position; when worn it compreses the shoulders - so you de feel akward when not on the bike :)

7mesh Synergy jersey for 2-8°C range. Realistically though, you need two different pieces of clothing for 2 and 8°C

I found a good deal and bought a clone of the Bioracer Tempest Protect jacket for 73 euros, I couldn’t resist. I’ll give this a try this winter and if this lets me significantly increase my rides in the cold, I’ll buy something better next year.

But I just saw a good deal on the 7mesh synergy jersey for 70 euros, available in my size. Clearly less bulky than what I just bought, but I think it’s more suited for 8°C and above (with one base layer).

Nope, Bioracer manufactures for various brands, at least for StolenGoat.com (UK). I bought mine from their outlet + 30% code : bg24, it works for the entire website.

If you are into getting the best for the money and not worried about name brand, then I would suggest Primal. I have this one (it's on sale):

https://www.primalwear.com/collections/ ... 2975311952

I wore it today with my ride starting out around 37 deg F. I only had a regular short sleeve jersey on underneath. I have to admit that I was a bit cold for the first hour so I probably would have been perfect with a base layer. I've only worn it a few times so I'm still getting used to what conditions it's best in. Note that I normally run hot so I would not wear this about 45 deg F.
