Their Bianchi days was unbranded Corima rims not sure what hubs laced to. I assume still using Corima rims tubular rims now.

Yeah, but these seem deeper and laced differently as far as I can compare.
From your photo probably a reserve tubular.

They use tubeless most of the time, tubular on high mountains like very important stages.
I think those are tubeless tires as they have the Vittoria logos on the sidewall. Vittoria tubulars always had the logos on the tread.

Yes, so why did she get DQ'd but not WvA after he broke the blanket ban on oiling chains while moving.

UCI are as always interpreting the rules inconsistently...

WvA faced no sanction for the same reason riders don't face a sanction for sticky bottles. It happens all the time. As does mechanical assistance from team cars at opportune moments to get back into the race after crashes etc.

Faulkner was the first to break the ban on CGM patches. No not surprising the UCI made a point of penalising her. Unfair I agree.

She was the first caught on social media.

He wasn't penalized because he is WvA and won the race. No commissaire is brave enough to touch that.

Another rider further down the result list and the outcome would've been different for sure.
Thats the point Faulkner made in her explanation: rules are not applied equally.

Seems the rule has been in existence for over a decade and teams were reminded of it in 2015.

Reason for implementing it stem from "magic spanner". As for no sanctions for sticky bottles, that isn't always the case, and nor should it be. IMO, if a rider has a mechanical it is part of racing.

One rider that is missing in Classics is H. Haussler. Is he injured or ?

double standards at their usual. and judging from post race comments, WVA and Jumbo feel entitled to breaking the rules, which just looks awfuly bad.

Pretty cool that the Eurosport commentator read out the poem 'In Flanders Fields' as they went past a war memorial

I was wondering the same and according to cqranking he didn't race at all this year.
