Myself and my co-founders had long history there, I started when it was a tiny climbing harness company and left 17 years later. I was honoured to be the CEO for my last 8 years there, and worked with tons of great people that are still friends.

So there's a lot of our DNA in Arc'teryx, and Arc'teryx DNA in us. We think similarly (but not identically) from a product perspective. Cheers!

Well, that's some darn good DNA. I'm probably going to order a kit soon and hope it holds up for a really long time so my wife doesn't murder me. Most all of my kits are from Hincapie, as I live in Greenville, SC. All clubs, events, etc. around here use them, so it's all I've know for the past 6 years of cycling. I'm ready to try some unique and higher end gear though.

Also our best fitter Clare is available on live chat Sun-Thu during west coast business hours - she's awesome at helping people find the right choice. I was quite surprised (flattered?) that I would be sized as a small in the bibs I was checking out. So surprised that I’ll probably head to Bicicletta and try some on to make sure!

7Mesh are awesome - I have their Oro shakedry rain jacket and it's amazing. Plus my sister lives in Squamish where they're based, so I feel a bit of a connection Great peeps though - I sent in a question once and they replied with a how-to video made just for me. Love em

I'm a big fan of Kalas, a Czech company formerly producing for Assos. Nowadays they're mostly known for custom kit and as the outfitters of Alpecin-Fenix. They have a limited selection of off-the-rack stuff too, of which I wear items from the Passion X9 line. High quality technical garments, subtle design and fair pricing. I have to say though, I cannot compare them with Assos/Rapha/... as I have not worn something from those brands yet.

I have to disagree. Granted I only have 1 jersey. That said my experience is that Kalas uses the cheapest possible material. "Free" Jerseys from organized rides use better material. To add insult to injury their jersey is horribly built. After wearing it once or twice the stitching was falling apart. I have never experienced such sub par quality regardless of price paid.

Whoa, that sounds horrible. Of which line and which year are we talking? Did you contact them for customer service?

I bought the Jersey last year. It is one of their GBR jerseys. No I have not contacted customer service but it is a good idea.

We find our charts pretty accurate for most people, but every person's body is unique and we're always working to improve. We share all customer feedback with our whole team internally. I recall some wild graphics, but spaced on the name.

Just did some searches, and I think the company is Endo Customs, but their web site appears to be on hiatus.

Ya, Eliel is down there too, as is a bunch of cool little hole-in-the-wall clothiers.
