Is anyone else experiencing tearing at the end of the seam of chamois? I am constantly getting holes after some time, that being while chamois is still looking as new. And I am getting fed up with it to be honest. I bought one Q36.5 in between and had no such issues. I am guessing the problem is Asoss' chamois is not sewn whole way around but just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this?

I love Assos apparel but am not willing to toss away perfectly fine bibs/tights because of this issue. So I might try some more Q36.5 which I also liked in the end.
Yep same thing, have multiple pairs with same problem and multiple teammates with same alao. Starts with the rearmost stiches and gradually moves forward. So far assos has been replacing the bibs, I've had the problem with three or four pairs, all RS S9. Houdini suit seems not to have the same problem

Did you buy directly from them (Assos)?

Edit: To me it's hapenning on Equipe RS spring fall bibs and habu tights (S9) as well, besides regular Equipe RS. Haven't worn targa much but considering I went from M to S on these I am not expecting they will last very long.

No, from LBS. My RS springfall have been trouble free, only regular RS bibs have had the problem.

Anyone have insight on how the Assos arm warmers & UV sleeves are sized in reality. Their sizing chart (0, 1, 2) just refers to typical jersey sizing (e.g. a 1 would be your usual M or L) but that still leaves me with some questions.

The Castelli sizing chart is more helpful I find - I'd want their size L which would be 47cm long when laid out flat and 13cm wide at the widest end.

And these 2 pics are Summer arm warmers in Size I that there are in black and in white colour

My arms are now 30 cms and size I is perfect, too were perfect with 27-28 cms, Spring arm warmers strech a lot, do not confused by the short length of Spring arm warmers

I just want to say how happy I am with the Spring/Fall GTS bibs. Perfection for when the temperature is somewhere between above freezing and around +10. Size M fit seems very similiar to M from Equipe Evo and RS 9.

Anyone try the new EQUIPE RS SCHTRADIVARI BIB SHORTS yet? If so, how do they compare to the previous generation?
I'm curious about the length of the legs. Assos are doing 'standard' and 'long' versions of this new bib.

I found the S9 Targa bib short legs a bit too long for me compared to the original S9. I wonder how the standard length S11 bib short compares to the S9 Targa.
I went to the Assos booth at Cyclingworld Europe in Düsseldorf yesterday and had a chat with one of their representatives about the S11. The standard S11 is supposed to have the same leg length as the S9 Targa with the long version getting about +3cm leg length extra.
I bought the SCHTRADIVARI shorts on sale surprisingly off BikeCloset. Must've been mispriced. First pair of Assos Bibs. Still has the gay bulge. I like the fit compared to my Rapha pro team bibs... Now trying to find the S11 aero jersey on sale..

What is the "gay bulge"?

I need to get a new pair of bib shorts. Last time I bought some bib shorts was years ago. At the time the Assos S7 lineup was the latest generation and I have a few shorts from them (Cento, Campionissimo...Tiburu). My pair of S7 Campionissimo got damaged due to a small incident and I need to replace it with another pair hence wondering what's the current equivalent to the S7 Campionissimo. I see on their website there is a new S11 generation and huge amount of bibs to chose from...and all with these fancy, but totally meaningless automotive names such as RS, RSR..GTO, GTS,Targa... whatever - it just adds an extra layer of confusion. Assos please, cut the crap, you're not selling Ferraris and Porsches here! My S7 are size L and they fit very well..I am 183cm, 82kgs with regular fit body, inseam is 750mm if i rememebr correctly. Also, any close alternatives to the S7 in other brands? Thank you!

Another case of EQUIPE RS BIB SHORTS S9 tearing at pad seams. 3 years old, but worn only around 15 times...

The Equipe RSR S9 Targa are their current top of the line race fit bib short. The S11 generation was just released but the top end RSR has not yet been updated. If you want comfort fit, look for Mille GTO C2, though that would be closer to the S7 Cento.

To me, the only (and arguably better) competitor is Q36.5. Their Dottore Pro, Dottore Clima, and Unique Pro are excellent.

Apparently, Assos revamped its base-layers, claiming the latest Spring/Fall LS Skin Layer has "a more versatile insulation gradient". Is that merely an excuse for a price increase compared to last year's Spring/Fall base-layer?

Also, the blue Ultraz base-layer is no longer shown on the Assos website. Has it gone? I'd be disappointed if they've dropped such a brilliant base-layer.

My winter lineup is currently the IJ.BONKA.6 CENTO jacket and LL MILLE BONKA tights, both denoted 4 on the then applicable climate range. Are the Mille GT Ultraz and the Jodah the most comparable items in Assos current line up?

Used for commuting in 0 to -15 Celsius, distance not long enough for body temperature to rise, so I been happy with this full warmth setup.

Reading up on vanity sizing, has sizes changed since above models? My weight is 74kg but due to length of 190cm, I have in the past used L in tights (they are still to short) and XL in long sleeved jackets needing to have room for base layers (L in short sleeve Equipe RS jersey).

Yes, the Ultraz and Johdah are the warmest in the lineup. The Ultraz will be warmer, as the Johdah is part of the Equipe lineup meant for higher intensity riding so is a bit thinner. My Mille Ultraz jacket is so warm that anything more than a paper thin base layer is overkill in anything above -5C.

The Ultraz are actually no longer current - there are now Hashoogi (regular fit) and Habu (racing fit) winter jackets.
