Came to post about NoPinz. Their Pro-1 stuff is decent and quite affordable.
My club skinsuit is from Tactic which is also quite nice

I have two nopinz and gobik suits
- nopinz pro-1 road, grippers of which rubb my hamstrings tendons to blood, but its fit is good; grippers are simply very narrow;
- nopinz gravel, that has an elastic interface padding and the lightest of four; my fav one
- gobik Brooklyn matt 2 that has also an ES padding, and the material it's made of is very soft to touch; grippers aren't the best especially with a bit hairy thighs;
- gobik Brooklyn women version, as the previous one, but doesn't have an issue with grippers.

Both gobik suits have fully unzipping jerseys, easy reacing pockets. They great suits and affordable but I wish gobik puts less strange slogans on their kits and chooses more pastel colours.

I wasn't aware of the gravel suit. I really like the larger rear pockets, the dyneema for crash protection, and the elastic interface padding. What I can't say I like are the mesh cargo pockets on the legs. Why add mass on a part of the body that is moving? Additionally, isn't that going to hurt aero performance?

Regarding your comment about the grippers on the normal road suit - I agree. That's the big weakness of it imo.

And one final comment regarding hairy thighs. If you're optimizing to the point of using a skin suit, grab a shaver

I tend to use speed suits on usual rides too simply because they don't have an issue with "a jersey going up" or sacked down jersey's pockets.

I'm going Rule 28 this year for Road bike TT and have an encapsulator (endura D2Z) for TT bike TTs. The rule 28 stuff is good. I have tested it in the wind tunnel

FWIW I use Nopinz Pro-1 suits and they fit great. No issues whatsoever with the grippers, hairy or not.
