Hello
i had an Endura 3 in 1 jacket.
Sadly the zipper gave up so i look for a new jacket for commuting.
What tips do you have?
I like the fit of Endura, but i refuse to buy same jacket again as i think the zipper would give up once again.
Thanks (all tips are appreciated)

What features should this jacket have?
Pricerange?
I usually wear a Gore Tex jacket with underarm zippers for ventilation.

I would like it to handle rain. But same time vented. My version of jacket feels like a plastic bag when it's less cold.
But it had zipper under arms possibility.
Basically shape/ form is what i look for to. Not a regular tight cycling jacket.
Think commuter jacket. Riding with jeans and a bit more relaxed.

I have 2 Gore Tex Patagonia jackets (Triolet & Calcite) that I also use for commuting. Both have underarm zippers.
But like you said, it can't be warm outside.
Additionally I have a Rapha Lightweight Commuter Jacket (not waterproof!) that I can throw over a t-shirt in summertime. It is super light and packs really small.

I'll be starting my 4th season with Showers Pass Syncline CC jacket, so far, no problems, and it only cost me $98 on sale, but it's on sale again for $114, or you can spend a bit more money, and buy a higher-level jacket, but more money doesn't mean it will work better, the fabric and the treatment are the same. It is highly recommended that you read the care instructions on the website if you want to last any jacket for a long time.
The sale price of $114 is direct through Showers Pass, Amazon will cost you about $20 more.

Not cheap, but I wear Castelli Alpha ROS for cold days and Castelli Alpha ROS light for not as cold days. These aren't going to hold up against full on downpours but light rain beads off the material very well. They can be ventilated easily enough and have built in base layers to let you use the zippers to regulate temps.
Those are more along the lines of "tight cycling jacket" but that's just how I commute.
