Context: 10 kms a day, in a very dense city area (stacked with Parisian morons on scooters, big motorscooters and SUVs).

I mainly use my Soma Pescadero, old school allroad bike (randonneuse spirit). Built for fun,not commuting, but it happens to be a fine commuter too ;)

Summer mode, without a passenger, Compass 35 mm:

With tank wheels and 32 mm Marathon Plus:

Tank mode + seat + stuff instead of kid

Kinesis Granfondo winter bike, when I can sneak out of office for a quick evening / night ride before going home (main issue is to remain composed, going from office to bike in lycra with Lake carbon shoes and a Protone helmet, through "very-formal-big-big-big-corp-headquarters"). Rear rack for the Ortlieb yellow bag:

I did. And they are functional but not pretty. I decided not to smooth them out to be reminded how my first one looked like.

I certainly wouldn't mind seeing more bikes in this thread, should you wish to post them.

Pinnacle Arkose. Currently on 47mm Trigger Reflects and Mudhuggers as I do a lot of gravel on it. I work somewhere where there are trails just a mile or so away so can take a fun route home.

I'll move to Contact Urbans and proper mudguards in a month or so when winter sets in.

It's the one bike that I allow to be ugly so it's just got random components from my spare parts box! I have to lock it outside sometimes so it can't be looking too good.

The rack also allows me to fit a child seat for my son.

Just under 11kg as pictured. Not too bad considering the rack, wire bead tyres, squashy saddle (so I don't need to wear padded shorts) and butyl tubes.
