This is a great picture of a good set up. How did you attach the lowrider rack? Am I right in saying that the fork doesn't have mounts?

My commute is 23 miles each way (46 round trip/74km) and I do it twice a week from March-October. I have showers at my office, and leave suits and dress clothes there in a large locker. Ride is rolling terrain, takes about 1hr15 with 10 stoplights on the way.

Sadly my commuter is my only bike, i had two at one stage but broke the N+1 rule when i purchased the propel and sold my original.

Have put a fair few km's commuting on the propel and have basically ruined cassettes and chains in the poor weather. Looking at picking up a cyclocross bike in the near future and making that the daily! fingers crossed ill have one to post up here shortly

Cannondale Slate Force 1

Some upgrades since that picture:
disc brake headshok, shimano brakes, new stem and salsa 2bend handlebar.
Laced Slate's stock mavic rims to old bontrager (dtwiss 370) rear and Mack front hub for this project.
"milled" a shimano 105 cassette with a BB facing tool to fit it to the rear hub
SRAM Apex 1 rd and shifter.
Ritchey WCS foam grips
This is what i use to haul bike parts from the post office.




I also got a Trek Stache 5 29+ for more harsh conditions, but sadly dont have a picture of it.

Here are two pictures of my 'commuter', I bought a used cyclocross frame off eBay & a damaged TCR from a car accident. I put the two together with 32mm gatorskins, I really enjoy riding it and it has the same gearing (11sp ultegra mechanical) as my main road bike.

next changes/upgrades will be the dt-swiss hub and rear cassette and maybe normal black bartape.

Nothing special to commute.

I have to ride at least 50km each way. So i won't ride something loki a citybike. In summertime i use my normally roadbike. Specialized SL5 or Cannondale SuperSix.
During the winter i use the crosser to commute. Felt fx1, SRAM Force 1x11. Fenders are the SKS Speedrocker. Normally Conti 4Season in 32. If there is some snow, WMB Wribbler.
