I have two different wheelsets for my roadbike and have problems with the brake discs on the front wheels (no problems on back wheels).

The wheelsets are Hunt and Roval. On the Hunt the brake disc is just a fraction more to the left than on the Roval. This means that every time I change wheels, I have to loosen the brake caliber in order to center it around the disc. The difference is not much. The wheel spins but rubs on the brake pad. It´s maybe 1/20 of a millimeter.
Both disc are absolutely straight. Both are Shimano; RT-MT800S on one wheel and RT-MT900S on the other.

Har anyone experienced this and even more important: Does anyone have a solution?

Get some rotor spacers like 0.1mm thickness.

Thanks for the advice. Just triede to Google rotor spacers and brake disc spacers. No hits. Do you have a link to a shop or brand?

what works for me sometimes is to do a piston reset when changing between different wheelsets. just buy a cheap pad spacer tool, remove wheel and spread the pads apart using the tool, inset new wheelset/rotor, pump the brake lever and the pads should hopefully be recentred.

Get some rotor spacers like 0.1mm thickness.
https://www.tune.de/en_US/products/shim_set 0.1mm

You may also find them in hardware store? if there is no exact match, the shims can be cut to size easily with a new pair of scissors.
Example:

How do you mount these shims? You need to mount them between the hub and rotor, and not between the between the rotor and the lockring, right?

These seems to be shims to be placed between hub and rotor: https://www.tune.de/en_US/products/pass ... _edelstahl

Yes, just cut the ID to spec and put the necessary no. of shims between hub and rotor. Buying a pack of x no. of shims should be cheaper than pre-made ones from wheel/hub brands, but of course less nice as you DIY.

Find the wheel that has the rotor sitting furthest from the hub, align the barakes on that one, then add spacers until the other wheelset has its rotor fitting to that too (y)
I got mine from an industrial bearing and shim place online.

Also keep in mind the max recommended to shim is 1mm.

What is the consequence of having 0.3mm oh shims?
