Nice they offer rim brake builds on the race series. The Artec stuff is interesting with an awful lot of design put into them. Nice to see. Wish them success. I wish I had more choice in rims only. There isn't much out there, but LB continues to offer some decent product development for rims. Can't complain about anything really.

Is 31mm at the edge or max width? For 23mm internal, I'd expect it to be 31mm at the edge, but they don't list a maximum.

31 is not at the edge, you can see that in the measurements. But anyways these are really light wheels.

I wouldn't be too sure about that, it's not exactly an engineering schematic, the measurment lines are all misaligned. It'd take it at face value until somebody actually measures it.

I really quite like the 'organic' look of the hubs.

For those trying to understand the weights, A4 (45mm) Rim : 387gr and the 65mm A6: 448gr.

If claimed weights are correct, the A4 at 1120g is 180g lighter than the Zipp 354 (a bit norht 1300g) with a similar rim weight (if take the "modified 353 rims" just under 400g). You have some gain on the spokes but the majority must come from their hubs.

Edit, the A2 rim is claimed at 305g (quite a performance, the C24T was around 280g being narrow and for tubular and the pair weighted 1132g -real- versus 965 -claimed-. here again around 180g lighter pointing toward a strogn gain on the hub side)

Just to clarify, those are the Artech 4 and Artech 6 23 mm IW rims and not the 25 mm IW 4.A and 6.A allroad version, right?

Yes, they were the road versions with 23mm IW. I can try to get the gravel version weight if interested.

Are the listed rim widths at the edge or at their maximum?

I couldn't get the weights, I suspect those wheels are comming latter (announced end of may versus next week for the "std ones").

Now trying to read between the lines, from the description the only difference are the rims
- A2: 965g /A2A: 990g -> 13g max per rim -> 318g
- A4: 1120 / A4A: 1200 -> 40g max per rim -> 427g
- A6: 1244 / A6A: 1319 -> 38g max per rim -> 485g
