Light aero wheels recommendations

Hi guys, I am currently searching for a replacement of my Roval Rapide CLX II wheelset - even though I quite like them, I want to optimize weight a bit.

What I am roughly looking for:
50-60mm deep
<1400g
optimized for 28mm tyres (Conti GP5000TT TR)
deep aero spokes
price max € 2000,-

In my research I've found: LightBicycle wheels, Elite Drive Helix 57D, CRW 5060.
Need your experience and recommendations!

CRW5060 get a lot of rave reviews.

The only thing that'd put me off for 28s is that we're starting to be told that 28mm on 25mm IRW is suboptimal. The hooks probably make it fine, but worth keeping in mind.


Some will say that's just for hookless, but I don't believe the ETRTO differentiates on that recommendation.

I also notice they are 25mm at the hooks, so the effective internal rim width may actually be slightly wider.

The new Black Inc 58/48, optimised for 28mm,hooked, and come in at 1270 grams.

What about the Farsports Hypers? They offer both a 50 and 58 depth - 24mm wide internal/30mm wide external. 1207g for the 50mm and 1292g for the 58mm.

Nextie CRX are worth looking at. Just ordered a pair of ARX and the turnaround from custom order to delivery is ~2 weeks.

Was initially going to go with Light Bicycle but my bike is ready to be built so the ~6 week time frame didn't work for me.

I have only good things to say about the Farsports Hyper (now they have even lighter rims with the ultra series) with rd270 hubs and carbon spokes. Choose the depth and widht you want (they can make you more or less everything) and be happy.
