They adjusted the weight on their web site already, it's now 195g for the 27c and 210g for the 29c.
Very interested in the RR and puncture tests!

Interesting that no where does it say if its a tube type or tubeless ready tire.
Doing bike things.
probably not much of a stretch to assume tubeless.. since nearly every rim they make nowadays.Junior Varsity wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2024 6:12 pmInteresting that no where does it say if its a tube type or tubeless ready tire.

Just looked at the tire images. Says "Tubeless" on the hot patch.spdntrxi wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2024 6:16 pmprobably not much of a stretch to assume tubeless.. since nearly every rim they make nowadays.Junior Varsity wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2024 6:12 pmInteresting that no where does it say if its a tube type or tubeless ready tire.

This might be the pick of the bunch for 25mm hookless users now we can't use 28mm STRs.
200g saved over a pair of 30mm STRs too!

The fair comparison is the TT TR thoughmikehhhhhhh wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2024 9:05 pmThis might be the pick of the bunch for 25mm hookless users now we can't use 28mm STRs.

Except you're not supposed to run the 28 on 25IRW, this was my point.BigBoyND wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2024 7:11 amThe fair comparison is the TT TR thoughmikehhhhhhh wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2024 9:05 pmThis might be the pick of the bunch for 25mm hookless users now we can't use 28mm STRs.

Although still 80g a pair lighter than the 28TTTR!

Funny thing, even though the ISO / ETRTO guideline is for nominal width, the 28mm GP5K TT TR will almost certainly be wider than the 29mm ENVE SES Race Day on a 25mm rim.

I love the GP5000TT, I run it for every day use and have had no issues with durability. Longevity is not great, roughly 1200 miles for a rear tire. The new Enve feel extremely supple and thin. Will be putting a set on my Foil very soon. Will be going on my Enve 6.7 wheelset, they are 23mm internal width hookless wheels, I anticipate running them at 60psi in the front and 65psi in the rear. My current tire setup is a 25c GP5000TT on the front wheel at 75psi and a 28c GP5000TT in the rear at 65psi. I ride this bike about 100-120 miles a week so it shouln't take long to get a feel for them.
Thanks for posting
Looking forward for your review
Do you feel they are too thin for being a ‘daily’ tyre as you experimented with the GP5000 TT?
Have you thought of going 27F and 29R?
When you had the chance please let us know the actual width on those 23IW
Thanks
