These seem like a steal:

The offer:

You can find discount codes over here, most countries have their own:
EDIT: there is a new, 120 USD CODE.

There is also an option of c.a. 3.6% cashback from various external parties, resulting in the quoted price of 444 USD (incl. shipping).

As confirmed on another forum, the rims are the same as Drive G45, only different painting and spokes:

Any thoughts on these? I'm considering buying these as an alternative to 50mm rims, but I'm unsure about the aero performance of 45mm vs 50mm - will the difference be noticeable at 45kph?

I have a pair of the 35mm in my cart too. Haven't pulled the trigger yet

When was the last time you lost a race by 5mm during a 65km/h sprint? If that has been happening to you a lot, then go for the deeper wheels.

Joking of course but there's nothing in it aero wise. All other things being equal the difference would probably similar to an extra gel in a back pocket. Nothing wrong with a great bargain if you are happy with hubs, etc. FWIW I ride WR50.

Several months ago actually :D Was closer to 68 kph though.

I'm looking for more info on the hubs atm, do you have any view on how they'd compare vs Carbon-Ti or DT240 in practice?

Are you considering the version with ceramic bearings too? I wonder if the hubs are the same and the bearings could be swapped for steel ones in case of a failure. No info on their durability.

I'm sure they are all standard size bearings. Replacement later with whatever you want is almost certainly a non-issue. I was considering the crw gravel wheelset, but at this price I might just give Elite a shot.

Which codes did you stack to get that price? I only see the $80 discount.

These look great. Can anyone confirm if they're hooked or hookless?

Once you proceed to payment the price will drop net of VAT on top of $80.

This review claims they're hooked:

The review covers the carbon-spoked version and sees this as a minus due to excessive stiffness - I fully agree.

Interesting. I only see an $80 discount. I wind up with a price approx $100 more than you did.

After some more digging I just realized that the hooked 35mm version is only 22IW. I'm passing on this one.

Ordered a set of the 45s for £397 (£65 discount code). Vendor is saying 15-25 days for manufacture and 25-50 days or more for free shipping, which doesn't include taxes. I've opted to pay an extra £65 (inc VAT) for DPD shipping which includes taxes and may arrive a bit earlier. Still a good deal though.

Are you planning to use these for road or gravel?

If it’s gravel I’d opt for the 45mm.

Plus I like the ratchet freehub vs the pawl system. I wouldn’t care too much about the hub quality as at that price I could just buy some decent bearings and replace them if anything happened.

Highly likely the ratchet system is the expired patent DT Swiss system, hence upgradable.
