Pretty sure my weight was with tubeless valve stems installed. Anyways, how was the ride? Like how loud they are?

Sound is ok , not so loud , had a pair of scribe wheels , they were to loud. Coming Saturday I do a 6 day ride training , so 700 km and 10 000 m climbing incoming , but confident there great :)

For folks still on regular clinchers, what tyres are you running?

On my 40Ds I've got a Spesh Turbo Gripton SWorks 24 on the front. Went on really easily and meets the 105% rule. On the rear same tyre in a 26
Scott Foil RC10 Ultegra 12 speed / Creston 50 - 7.9Kg

I got hunt wheels and thought those hubs were loud compared to 2 sets of dt swiss wheels. Then I got the drive 40s and was impressed with the sound.

Best of luck if you order from them. They shipped me the wrong wheels, admitted it, then told me I needed to wait until after the new year (Feb 4 - Feb 18) and I'm still waiting, they keep telling me they "need more days", they're waiting for the person who got "my" wheels to receive them. They suck - back to farsports.

Horrible news for me, I really hope this doesn't mean price increase

I rode the drive 40v rim brake version of these for the Haute Route Alps a couple of years ago and they performed well - so virtually every major col in the Alps up and down. I also have the BWT series rim brake for daily riding - not sure what happened to that series - it was their wave version. Not very light but not expensive and a very stiff wheelset.

Photos check out. Drive side on ground, small rings, spacer stacks, short stems, flat pedals.
