I had 700x28 and 700x30 side by side before mounting them, same tread with different case.

Well bicycle rolling resistance and others in the dedicated thread measured the tread on the 700x28 at 30mm. Others and myself measured the 700x30 tread at 32mm. You can see the photos in the other tread.

I measured the 30C tire at almost exactly 32mm.

BRR measured the 28C at 30mm.

Mines were prerelease tires, months before they were released, so it makes sense.
