Uh what makes you think that?

Bontrager and Roval’s top tier wheels are due for a refresh. Zipp is due for a refresh. New Campy wheels have already been spied on pro bikes.

Brands like Project 321 have gravel/road hubs coming eventually. Brands like Tairin are doing interesting things on the MTB side and could be developing road disc hubs.

The Vittoria Corsa Pro Speed has been seen on Jumbo-Visma bikes. The Schwalbe Pro One Aerothan is coming.

What Campy wheels are that supposed to be, resfreshed Boras maybe? Any link? Looking at new Hyperons but might as well wait and see since I am in no hurry.

Probably new Bora's with same specs as the new Fulcrum Wind? And Bora Ultra's compared to the Wind Speed wheels?

This seems like a bot post... and if its not, you're upset that its late 2023 and that no new products have been introduced in the the future....? Things are unreleased until they are released.

Not sure if linked but some Movistar riders have been complaining on stiffness (and backed up by lab data), at least one rider had the wheel relaced with 2mm bladed spokes to regain some stiffness.

BTW 404 were announced @1450g and I weighted a pair at 1535g ready to go (1510 stripped), 80g above marketed, if each rim took 55g, would that make them at 1640g in real life or were they already beefed ones ?

Back to Op point, we had good development this summer
On the very top level light aero and stiff
- Syncros wheels, curious how such a wide range of highend one piece wheels will be taken by the market (and really want to try them over the Mavic Cosmic Ultimate)
- Mavic Ultimate
- maybe the Parington will finally be mature

Upcoming, 2 main brands are due renewing wheels
- Campy is due to renew wheels, it seems critical for them, they were a real reason some people remain on Campy drivetrains (alreayd had the hyperion earlier this year)
- Mavic will be releasing more wheels in 2024 to complete its offering and support re-entering the US market after their previous owner problems put them into trouble.
- not sure about zipp, between the hookless, the tire pressure limits and now the rims taking a 15% extra weight, I am not sure where they head to.

good review of the zipp 404 heavy version
as usual sram/zipp hubs are utter garbage.

Also to do with the massive stock overload for many of the brands this year, bringing anything out is pointless right now commercially.

You hear of some of the crazy stuff Shimano and other brands are doing across Europe meaning most shops can't actually afford to take any new products
