GP5000 AS TR anyone?

28s with a few hundred miles on them - zero cuts or loose threads. 370g the pair. They do look as if they'll last well.

Is this weight correct? They are specified 335g for each 28mm tire.

My AS TR 28 mm tyres were 339 and 341 grams, so the 370 g for a pair sounds incorrect.

Have tried my friend;s wheelset with 28mm AS TR in cream color, you can feel the difference coming off Conti 28mm TR........... petty heavy for a modern tyre. We also seems to have bad luck with sealing with 30-40ml of sealant per real world experiences - end up with 60-70ml of Sealant....juts add to the weight!!!

30ml of sealant barely does anything. I don't understand why people even try this. Sealant dries up and eventually weighs next to nothing. The first round of sealant will dry up the fastest. You can top up with 30ml.

Review at BRR, especially if you want to ride a 28mm AS TR the new Tufo looks good. No wider options available, but the 28mm is 1mm wider than the GP5000 S TR, so a 29mm GP5000 if you want.

It looks like THE all season tire, which is what I was expecting, though it's a surprise to see it match the AS TR in their wet grip tests. I suspect RR difference will signficantly narrow to the S TR / Power Cup / Corsa Pro in 30s or 32s when they become available.

Wow indeed. Those wattage figures with 50% tread coverage and that amount of grip down the center. Thin sidewalls, but with the widest tread coverage of any tire in its class, it probably won't be a massive problem.

The BRR test looks amazing for this tire. Is 30/32mm confirmed to be coming for the Prima? Great weight for the size, too. Never ridden Tufo before, but this looks like a good one. Are they supple?

I'm super interested in these for my winter tire. Thinking about going for the 32s. Do they measure true to size? Would be running them on 21 internal on my SL7. Or could just go big and ride my crux through the winter.

For sizing on 21mm IW, you can use BRR and add 2mm

Gonna get the 35mm AS version of this tire, so i can ride at 4bar, better chance it seals little holes then @ high pressure.
Anybody soms experience on these tires?
