I'm on the last version. Really good in crosswinds. Highly underrated. Can only think they've improved on what I have...

46mm is just shy of the aero sweetspot these days with wider tires, so any wheels of that depth should be light. 1397g doesn’t cut it. My Light Bicycle WR50s are 50mm deep, 32mm wide (25mm hooked internal), weigh 1359g and cost about $1200.
Any thoughts on carbon spoked wheelsets if you run them? Coincidentally I saw that LB weren't offering any of the carbon spoked builds with a WR rim.TobinHatesYou wrote: ↑Mon Aug 21, 2023 4:42 am.. Speaking of carbon spokes, it deserves its own thread to learn how it is made, the material science and the risk associated with the production method / structure. After that it would be a much more educated purchase to reduce surprise.

Btw, with the stability of the rim design, the 60 would be a much more interesting product.

I have them on my new Super Six Evo. No complaints, running GP 5000 in 28c and set up tubeless.

This is why I bought them. I ride long and low and every bike I have owned has been tough to deal with in crosswinds when I'm going downhill fast. My System Six with the knot 64s in particular was downright dangerous for me.ClydesDale wrote: ↑Mon Aug 21, 2023 3:16 amI'm on the last version. Really good in crosswinds. Highly underrated.
