So... are the current 25mm Comturas running big or normal? In BRRs comments, there are hints that actually the 28mm ones might only be "big", the 25mm should be true to size (also, considering their super low weight).

Mine run big. Front is 28.7, rear is 28.1 on a 21mm internal (Roval Rapide)

Same experience over here. Mine didn't even last that long. Had to replace both tires after the first week of training camp on Mallorca.
Great feeling tire, but not worth it overall.

How many km did they last you?

So, I have 3 Comtura's, 2 x 25mm and 1 x 28mm. One of the 25s and the 28 have all sealed very easily and exhibit minimal air loss (even without sealant). The other 25 is much more problematic, and seems very porous (sidewalls). It will inflate, but loses material pressure quite quickly (20-30 psi over 3-4 hours). I have ridden it (though only a 42 mile ride), and this didn't seem to make any difference. I've tried both Muc-Off no hassle and Peaty's Bioshot sealant (Muc-Off seemed the more effective of the two, 35ml in each case). Any ideas to improve this? Is there a better option sealant wise for leaky sidewalls? Cheers, Dave

First ride yesterday and very happy with them so far. They are very grippy and rolling resistance is as expected based on BRR, i.e. can't feel any difference from GP5k or Power Cup.

I have to start and finish my rides in a city, so usually I pick up a small cut or two I the tread from broken glass and debris. None appeared during this ride. Either that was luck or the tire is robust.

I wonder whether the short lifespan people are seeing is because the puncture belt and casing are thicker and the tread is thin. That would explain the great puncture score combined with TT TR weight and good RR as reported by BRR.

1000km would be disappointing, but if it lasts 2000km, then I don't mind the tradeoffs. At least as long as the tire does turn out to be as puncture resistant as is seems and price stays under 55€.

Power Cup TLR at 45€ is probably still the best value performer, if money is a driver.

I'll see how long these last me, but I'll probably stick with them this year and try the 32mm when they become available.

The compound is too soft. Great grip at the cost of durability. Great as a front tire imho.

That's interesting. How heavy is your tire? What is the tread width and total width? Can you show us the product box and the product code? All these would help us to ID the revision.

Hhmm strange I bouhgt mine 25mm a month ago and mounted them recently with TPU inners in a 21mm inter width rim. They measure above 28,3 mm

Attaching a photo. Tufo's support answered very quickly and suggested I return them for warranty. Unsure if I should gamble with another set.

So far you're the first, so for now I'd assume the defect rate (if it's a defect at all) is no worse than any other tire
