Hi,
I need some new 28mm tires. They should be tougher than the Conti GP5000 and faster/ligher than the Conti 4Seasons.
The gold middle :)
Running tubes.

Thanks!

When the BRR data is correct, the 5000 TR AS has worse puncture resistance than the regular 5000.

Pirelli P Zero TLR? Will be heavy with tubes though.

No other option will come close to GP5000 in rolling resistance. Pirelli P-Zero Race in tube type has slightly better puncture resistance and weight, but worse wet grip and tread height (so will wear out faster). New S-Works Turbo T2/T5 has much better punture resistance and wet grip, and worse weight and rolling resistance (only slightly better than the GP 42).

Michelin power cup 28c clincher with tpu tube. Faster then gp5000, more comfort (feels like cotton tire), looks strong did ride a lot of gravel on it today and all ok, the scores on brr seem to agree with me.

So far I agree the Michelin seems more durable than GP5k. And much more supple.

I should give Michelin a try again. Loved their tires 20 yrs ago.

The Vittoria Rubino Pro is a very under rated tyre. The 28mm inflates to exactly 30mm on 19mm ID rims and it has a really nice shaped profile.

I applied a similar profile to my search and ended up with Vittoria Corsa Pro, Michelin Power Cup or Conti GP5k AS TR as possible options. Planning on running 30s or 32s tubeless.

Pirelli P Zero Race 4S tube type? I'm super impressed with mine, running TPU tubes on a 24/30 rim and I've nothing bad to say. Disclaimer I've not used GP5k though.

I think they fit your criteria. Comparison from BRR: https://www.bicyclerollingresistance.co ... ro-race-4s

Sticky in hot climates, you mean? They expand much more than what size requirements state. For those reasons, I never really liked this tire brand.

No, I mean supple. Rides very smooth and comfortable compared to GP5k.

The second part doesn't make sense to me. Order based on WAM, not based on labeled width. The info is out there and then you order accordingly. Who cares what number is on the tire? Seems like a strange criteria for tire selection. I like 30mm tires, so I ordered the 28mm Power Cup.
