Hello,

On paper it looks good, for the rim brake version:

28mm outside
grooved brake track with 270°C claimed resistance
36t ratchet hub
2:1 lacing 18/21
Wing 20 spoke

More choice on the disc version:

Some scale photos on AE reviews show the rim brake set at 1212g without tape. That's very impressive for a sub $600 wheelset.

Has anyone here ever ridden these rings?
I'm interested in the opinion on the rim brake version..

How stiff and responsive is wheelset ?
Would it be a smart trade for a Fulcrum Zero?
I would like to reduce the weight, but I would not like to lose the stiff rings, because my first choice is hilly riding !!

I have the Elitewheels Drive 50 (rim brake). It's a nice product, light and stiff as you'd imagine. They also have good customer service. I had some play developing on my rear wheel and they sent me a replacement for the bearings free of charge, covering also the cost of the lbs.

Guys on chinertown.com ride those wheels and they loved it. I just received custom wheels from yuanan which is an OEM factory for elite (and ridley, ffwd, rose etc.) and I am super impressed with then. Can only recommend customer service and pricing. Tbh nothing can beat those edges for road at this price. I chose the same hubs for my gravel setup and they are mega.

The gravel version looks like a good option for people running 28+ mm tyres. Only goes to 45mm depth and may be hookless?

Ordered a set of elitewheels from alieexpress - tubeless - 1282g claimed weight - bitex 305 hubs. Showed up and weighed over 1600g and they are not bitex 305 hubs. Waiting to hear back from elite before filing w/ my bank (credit card).

Follow up - after sending pictures they got back to me and said they shipped me the wrong wheels. The kicker is they then told me they're closed for the new year from Feb 4th to the 17th and they'll come back with a solution after. I told them to come back with a solution now and enact it after or I'd need to disupte only because of the time lapse between purchase, receiving and now this.
