There were a few leaked images of these a few months ago, but I've never seen them for sale anywhere. Now, I managed to get my hands on them. I have yet to ride these. Definitely heavy af (28c are 340g).

Does anyone have any experience yet? Also, they are quite high up on BRR voting, so we'll probably know relatively soon how these perform in terms of puncture protection, CRR and grip.

Really really easy to set up. Just a normal track pump and they went onto the ENVE 6.7 no problem. Holding air super well, without sealant.
29mm wide on 23 TSS internal.

Officially they have a reflective sidewall, but I don't really see it working. There is something there, but it sparkles very lightly in direct headlights. Not really what I was hoping for.

Are they also prohibitively expensive?

€60 in Germany. So yeah, pretty pricey.

Maybe they are just like 4 seasons. Where did you get them?

:(
Thanks.
I love Conti tyres but the tubeless road goers are more than I am willing to pay.
Oh well. Getting to try other tyres out.

Hopefully they are a good thing for you. :)

I got them here: https://www.smi-radsport.de/Fahrradteil ... hwarz.html But they are sold out now.
They are the successor of the All-Season to some extend, but really, they are an All-Season version (different rubber compound, more puncture protection) of the S TR.
The width and tread look exactly the same. They are both HL compatible etc.

I don't think they were meant to be sold now, since that's the only place they have them.

There's been no official announcement yet. Maybe they're a replacement for the old Grand Prix tyres that were tougher than the GP 4000/5000

First 100k on the tire, got a little wider (29.0 to 29.5). Quite grippy on 0C asphalt. It feels a little harsh compared to GP5000s TR, but that was kinda expected, with them being reinforced on the sidewalls.

If you have room, the Gp5000 35mm urban is a killer winter tyre, but tube only.
The compound is winter-wet but still bloody fast

Any idea on when the 35MM AS will be available?

Any other practical experience on these so far? I see that a lot of online shops where I'm located (Switzerland) have the 25-28mm in stock, and the 32-35mm on order.

I'm interested in putting these (probably in 32mm) on an e-gravel bike for my SO to commute on as well as join me on the occasional road ride. Grip, comfort, and puncture resistance are high priority.

A couple of the main media outlets also have released reviews on them recently (early May'23 timeframe):
https://www.bikeradar.com/reviews/compo ... tr-review/
https://www.cyclingweekly.com/reviews/t ... -trial-use

One review reports good grip, and the other says not much different than the S TR.
Road - Time Alpe d'Huez 01 rim
All-road - Diverge Elite DSW '16 disc

I've done a few hundred miles on a set of 28s on my light climbing bike (TCR Adv SL). They feel heavy in the hand, and it shows on the scales, but they don't feel sluggish riding them. Most importantly, they look great in cream! The more sturdy build over the S TR inspires confidence that they'll take knocks without cutting up or puncturing easily, which is reassuring given their cost. Regarding grip, it's hard for me to say, as I don't go out my way to test the limits of traction, but BicycleRollingResistance puts them right up there amongst the best for wet grip, and I haven't had any negative experience to say otherwise. In short, I like them, but I am going to swap them for something lighter (24/26 mm Corsa Pros or 25mm Power Cups) and move them to a wet weather bike.
