Correct. Very nice wheels. DT Aerolite are pretty amazing as a spoke choice also.CustomMetal wrote: ↑Fri Dec 30, 2022 7:21 pmNice! Your ones? Hear he builds a nice oneFlatlandClimber wrote: ↑Fri Dec 30, 2022 6:49 pmCustom Rhino 6.7
PS: the difference in watts between sets of this depth is very minuscule. It has has to work for you (the tires you want to use, stability as much as you need etc).
All the mentioned ones (Rapide CLX, Bontrager 62, DT62) are pretty great.

Thanks!
Not really a big difference... Was leaning towards Bontrager RSl (as i'm riding a trek) or Shimano Dura Ace C60.. Those DT swiss a impressive, but the stickers/logo sucks.. Got them on my mtb, they have been flawless..
One thing I can say.. HED no thanks.. Worst quality ever.. lol

You are so right.. Can't feel it.. So maybe just buy for the looks.. That narrows it down to Enve, Bontrager or Shimano..

Can´t find the Tour Mag test yet, but you can try yourself.LuigiG wrote: ↑Fri Dec 30, 2022 11:07 pmLink to the test...Roadrocket wrote: ↑Thu Dec 29, 2022 10:49 pmWTO 60 actually weren't tested fastest. If I remember right they were one of the slowest wheels in test.
Anyway I stored the data from the test.
Here you go:
Wheel model / aero drag / stability (lower is better) / stiffness (higher is better) / wheelset weight
DT Swiss ARC1100 62 / 216.1W / 6. / 54-49 / 1698g
Shimano Dura Ace C60 / 216.3W / 6. / 55-46 / 1638g
Campagnolo Bora WTO 60 / 218.1W / 9. / 50-49 / 1540g
Vision Metron 60 / 217.4W / 8. / 42-39 / 1652g
Zipp 454 NSW / 217.3W / 6. / 48-44 / 1380g
Bontrager RSL 62 / 216.4W / 4. / 55-44 / 1538g
The difference from the slowest to the fastest wheelset is less than 1%.Roadrocket wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 6:06 pmCan´t find the Tour Mag test yet, but you can try yourself.LuigiG wrote: ↑Fri Dec 30, 2022 11:07 pmLink to the test...Roadrocket wrote: ↑Thu Dec 29, 2022 10:49 pmWTO 60 actually weren't tested fastest. Bontrager RSL 62 / 216.4W / 4. / 55-44 / 1538g
Surely all the aero drag numbers 216.1W to 218.1W are within the tolerance of measurement error for a wind tunnel????
Conclusion: by on price, weight and stiffness, not drag.

Wheels were tested at different yaw angles, at 0 yaw there was small difference, but at higher yaw angles there was 10-15W difference between best and worst. I´m not saying you will lose the race on the slower wheels, but there is certainly some difference as well as with aero frames.
For me the RSL 62 would be the winner, remember there is also more things to consider such as stability, weight and stiffness.
Anyway I´d like to see some other wheels tested too.

Sail effect then? Hard to test objectively in real life due to wind angle changes, but I'm sure it is measurable in a wind tunnel.Roadrocket wrote: ↑Mon Jan 09, 2023 12:26 pmWheels were tested at different yaw angles, at 0 yaw there was small difference, but at higher yaw angles there was 10-15W difference between best and worst.
