Reasons to be cheerful:

Cyclingnews has spotted a new Corsa Pro tyre on a Jumbo-Visma bike.

Pro as in Pro only?
They really should update their Corsa offering. It's outdated on several fronts.

S-Works SL8 (2023) 6.3kg

*weights are race ready, size 58/L.

The speculation about a possible new Corsa Pro Speed. Would definitely be the most interesting, with the Corsa speed still being about the best pure racing/ TT tire there is, even 4 years after being updated.
They need to get it up to new ETRTO standards, add a 28c, and obviously could work on puncture protection a little. The speed is still unmatched (only by the mega flimsy Veloflex Record TLR), so they should try to improve on the other areas.

Very interested in this. Hopefully, these will be a touch closer to the GP5K in RR.

I'd be way more interested in a Corsa Pro non-speed that can compete or surpass the GP5K S TR. I do have a bin full of Corsa Speeds and GP5K TT TdF tires, but honestly they're probably going to lose me more races than win.

I hope that's what these are. While they could probably make the speed a touch faster (closer to the new Veloflex record) it would likely be at the cost of durability - not that there was much, which for me would probably make them a no-go for me - even in TTs.

Side profile looks exactly like the Michelin Power cup classic TLR. I bet its made in the same factory and tread is narrow like Michelin.

If they made the the same tire as the Michelin, which I agree it looks very similar to, pairing it with the Reserve wheels would be quite daring!
Michelin doesn't allow for wider than 19c officially when using a 28 tire.
Reserve wheels are 25mm internally, so per Michelin, you'd probably need to use a mountain bike 2.25" tire.

Yup, comparing them to my Michelin power cup with same angle of pic, they look like the rolling tread is just as narrow as the Michelin, and significantly narrower than the current Corsa... that would be quite disappointing

How do vittorias compare in real world puncture protection and mounting difficulty?

Well let's see if the pros using these new tyres have any sidewall problems. They'll be leaning into the corners more than nearly all of the posters on here.
