Brr results for 28mm are online. Looks promising but seems to have the same issue like the michelin with tread width being too small for modern wide rim.
How do you arrive at this conclusion? The Power Cup TLR have several issues.
The tread to casing ratio is 35% on the Cup TLR, which is the lowest of any tire BRR has tested.
The Vittoria 28 have that ratio at 41%, which is almost exactly that of the GP5000s TR and the GP5000TT.

Also, the Vittoria are tested for Hookless with a specific tire pressure set for different rim constructions. So Vittoria goes properly by the ETRTO 2023, while Michelin just went by 2010 wheels as standard.

Hey guys,

i am currently running GP 5k S TR tubeless on hookless 22 mm IW wheels w/Stan's tubeless milk.

Thinking about switching to Corsa Pro when worn. Would Stan's color shift the sidewalls of these? It does not with my S TR, but those ain't cotton.

Thanks in advance

I have wide wheels - Enve 4.5 AR.
I am heavy and lean 95KG.
I currently run 28 GP 5000 STR and they seem massive on my wheels width wise(have to use a hybrid plug to keep my bike on the wall).
I ride at 65PSI.
Other bike has Schwalbe Pro Ones on it.

I am still very tempted to buy these but feel i am wasting the GP5000, i wont wear them out any time soon. Been watching this thread and they do sound so good. After FlatandCLimber post three up they sound even better. I was not tempted at all with the Power Cup.

Anyone tried these on Enve wheels yet?

I don't ride Enve wheels but my Light Bicycle wheels have the same 25mm internal width and I switched from GP5KS TR.
The 28mm Corsa Pros measure about .5mm narrower than the GP5K in the same size on my wheels. (30.5mm vs 31mm.)

According to multiple accounts, the 30mm and 32mm versions have the same width (30mm) tread cap as the 28mm tire. Pretty lame if true.

I think it partially comes from new rim standards. 28mm tyres are measured on 19mm rims, 30mm - on 21mm rims, which makes these two tyres almost identical. 32mm having the same tread width as 30mm is surprising though.

I've seen some stories from Rhino and he was very enthusiastic about the new Vittoria Corsa Pro. If I remember well he rode on Enve wheels.

The BRR tests are quite impressive! Best tyre out there in 2023. At least one Italian company delivers

28C Control mounted on ERC1100 45 (22mm internal). Easy to mount without tire levers but a bit hard to seal, I had to remove valve cores and give them a big shot of air from booster pump. For comparison my last two sets of 5000str 25C popped on using just floor pump. Unfortunately battery in my callipers is dead so I could not get exact width measurements, will post an update once I get a new one Image

Update: width on 22mm rims is 28.8mm (No riding yet)

Re ENVE: yes. Mine are mounted to SES 2.3 and once my old tires are beat, I'll mount a 30c to the 4.5 2022.

Then his bike pic he had gp5000 on the bike again, I could be wrong though.

Nice.

How do you like the ERC 1100 45 DB? Are on my list for a new wheelset. Tires here seem almost flush with the rim width (nominal 28.5, measurements I saw were more like 29mm).

I have around 10k kms on them since last year. Going from 38mm deep Chinese rims with dt350 hubs built by local wheel builder it’s pretty big difference, especially when it comes to comfort and stability in crosswinds, DT despite being deeper are much more stable even in strong wind. 180 hubs with ceramic bearings and hidden nipples are also nice additions. Pretty expensive but honestly no downsides, great wheels for all conditions.

And yes, 28c corsas are flush with the rim. I previously ran 25c GP5000STR which measured around 26.5mm
