How do vittorias compare in real world puncture protection and mounting difficulty?
Depends on what you compare it to. As per BRR, it's as "slow" as a Corsa Next, which isn't even a race tire.

If they made the the same tire as the Michelin, which I agree it looks very similar to, pairing it with the Reserve wheels would be quite daring!
Michelin doesn't allow for wider than 19c officially when using a 28 tire.
Reserve wheels are 25mm internally, so per Michelin, you'd probably need to use a mountain bike 2.25" tire.
I thought that restriction was for 25mm... 28's also? I'm on 23 internal.

25mm only up to 17c
28mm only up to 19c
And 21c at least 34c.

That's all I can grasp from the thread. All the other images have vanished there.

Comparing it to GP5K non TL. I don't race so I'm not losing too much sleep if I lose half a watt on each tire, but if I gain dreamy comfort as some people claim, or get to keep the skin on my thumbs and my sanity when I need to fix a flat, it's worth it to me.

*half a watt* it's 10 watts at 29kph for a set of tires.

Great that they are Hookless compatible. It might be the bright cream sidewalls, but this tread looks suspiciously narrow...

Anyone have more information on these ones? My LBS wouldn't tell anything, though they said it's coming in the spring.

I got myself 2 sets, one 28mm and the other one 30mm.

Narrower thread that than Corsa g 2.0 TLR.
28mm and 30mm have same thread width.
Around 20 grams lighter than corsa g2.0.
Tire bead is much better made than g2.0, it will hold air. Hookless compatible (5bar both in 28 and 30mm).
QR code in the box takes you to Corsa NEXT website.

I will ride them when the temperature at night goes over freezing point, I don't want my new tires destroyed by the salt on the road.

Pretty easy to mount on the rims, light and very supple feel, 30c tires don't seem bigger than older 28s.

Tire is around the weight of non tubeless corsas, I think that tire will probably last somewhere between Corsa and Corsa speed

I have a 32c power road on the hookless rear WR50. 25int 32ext.
Been fine at 60psi which is heaps at my weight. It blows up huge. 35mm wide.
